Stonebrook Vista

A gated community in the heart of Trelawny, Jamaica.

Stonebrook Vista is a deed-restricted gated community which is managed by its Homeowners Association’s Board of Directors. The Board comprises seven elected homeowners who promulgate and enforce the established rules and regulations, declaration restrictions in accordance with established Constitution & Bylaws.

Our community is more than just a collection of homes— It’s a vibrant, family-friendly setting where neighbours connect and cultivate a true sense of belonging

Gregory Brown

Chairman

Lives In: Phase 4

Mr. Gregory R. Brown currently serves as Chairman of the tenth Board of Directors of the Stonebrook Vista community where he previously served as Director of Finance for Board 9.  Mr. Brown is a Corporal with Jamaica Fire Brigade and holds the position of Accountant for St James Division. Affectionately known as Greg, he is endeared by his colleagues.

With a passion for leading with integrity, diplomacy and warmth, Mr. Brown commands a dedicated and resilient team and is always seeking ways to implement strategies for community improvement. This visionary is seeking to position and brand this great community as the gem stone amongst other housing developments in the Falmouth area.

Mr. Brown leads a vibrant and active personal lifestyle with a firm belief in promoting health, building synergies and establishing camaraderie throughout the community.  Along with the other directors of Board 10, he remains adamant that Stonebrook Vista is a good investment for anyone seeking home ownership in a community that prides itself on the core values of Vigilance, Integrity, Safety, Transparency and Accountability

Jacqueline Cork-Amiel

Jacqueline has worked in the corporate and healthcare sectors for over 30 years.  She currently manages a nursing registry that provides home healthcare solutions,  and a recovery home.  She has served on boards of non-profit organizations in the capacities of Secretary and Vice-President, and it is to these volunteer roles that she credits her strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities.

Vision:  To enhance relationships among homeowners, board members, security team, and property management through commitment, dependability, and accountability

Sylvan Lalor

Hello neighbors,

My wife and I have been resident/owners at Stonebrook Vista for over 13 years and I am currently serving as Secretary on the Stonebrook Vista Board of Directors.
I am a graduate of St Elisabeth Technical High School and Ryerson Polytechnical Institute now, Metropolitan Univesity, Toronto.
My work background is in the technical/engineering field, working in the alumina and nuclear power industries for over 35 years before retiring.
After retiring I started and ran a utilities consulting business for two years.
I served for three years on the Board of Directors of my condominium corporation in Scarborough , Canada as Board Secretary. I also served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Caribbean Golf Association in Ontario, Canada, where we play recreational golf and raise funds for charity.
I believe in maintaining Stonebrook Vista as a premier gated community and in keeping owners informed on happenings in our community.

Alwayne Brown

Director of Security

For over 18 years as a firefighter, Alwayne has played an active role in the community and has dedicated his life to saving the lives and properties of others.  He earned a diploma in Supervisory Management from the University of the West Indies and, in recent years, added tactical training to his portfolio.  Alwayne holds the rank of Sergeant and credits his training and experience for his excellent interpersonal skills.  He describes himself as a keen listener and a confidante who believes in integrity, working ethically, fairly, and professionally.

Vision:

To enhance the security of the Stonebrook Vista community using current technologies.

Thedia Hemmings

Thedia received formal training in Dietetics & Institutional Management, Sales, and Marketing.  She worked for international companies and has been acknowledged and rewarded for helping them to achieve growth.  A Kiwanis Leader with volunteer passion for over 34 years, Thedia has no doubt that serving at Stonebrook Vista will be no less fulfilling.

Vision: To assist neighbours in becoming visionaries who will uplift each other, and the community will gain.

Carl Bucknol

Recording Secretary

Lives in:​Phase 2

Carl Bucknol has a background in electrical installation and has been actively involved in the airline customer service industry for more than 30 years.

Choosing to serve on the Board of Directors was an easy decision as he enjoys supporting community development projects and social progress.  Carl also enjoys playing dominoes.

Vision: To see more homeowners involved in community projects and to see increasedparticipation in social activities.

Patricia Symister

Operations Manager

Operations Manager

Our recently appointed Operations Manager holds a BSc degree, in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.  She brings to Stonebrook Vista over 10 years of management experience in Hospitality, Properties, Safety & Standards.

Her knowledge of Real Estate and the importance of maintaining property value is the driving force behind her unwavering efforts to maintain the standards of our community by enforcing its Constitution and Bylaws.

Mrs. Symister is a hands-on manager who is often seen on the grounds supervising the landscaping team.    She enjoys helping people and respects and values homeowners’ opinion, so do not hesitate to contact her with any concerns or ideas you may have.
